Submit a Complaint

A Complaint is an allegation that a registered entity has violated a Reliability Standard. A Complaint can be submitted directly to NERC and will be shared with RF if it involves a registered entity in the RF Region. It will be determined whether there is sufficient basis for initiating another compliance monitoring or enforcement process.

To submit a Complaint, the complainant can complete the NERC Compliance Hotline form, call the NERC Complaint hotline at 866-888-0451, or send an email directly to hotline@nerc.net.
