They will reflect on how things have changed since then both at the FERC and NERC/ERO level and look ahead to the challenges of the future. \n\nInside the control room at NY ISO during the 2003 Northeast Blackout  \nSteve Swan\, Principal Technical Auditor\, Operations & Planning\, RF  \n\nRF’s Steve Swan remembers Aug. 14\, 2003\, well. In fact\, he was working as an operator inside the NY ISO control room at the time the blackout occurred.
