Susan O. Ivey is Senior Vice President of Transmission Strategy and Compliance for Exelon Corporation. She is responsible for managing NERC compliance and interfacing with regulatory authorities, regional reliability organizations and all interconnected third parties for Exelon and its six utility and two generating affiliates.

She also manages the Exelon Utilities Transmission Strategy Team which coordinates economic transmission planning activities for Exelon Utilities in PJM and works with the North American Transmission Forum (NATF) on benchmarking opportunities for transmission operations and planning.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Ivey was Vice President of Transmission Strategy and Compliance for Exelon, Vice President of Transmission Operations and Planning for ComEd and PECO and Vice President of Wholesale Market Development for Exelon. In this role she supported the development of competitive wholesale markets in New England and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, while participating in efforts to integrate the ComEd control area into PJM Interconnection. She also has served as Vice President of Exelon's Power Team, where she was responsible for short-term energy transactions. Prior to joining Exelon Corporation, Ms. Ivey worked with Atlantic Electric and PJM Interconnection, and held several operations positions including capacity and system planning.

Ms. Ivey holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University. She is a licensed professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
